Verus to be the First Metrology Test Laboratory to Achieve ISO:17025 Accreditation

Verus Metrology Partners is on course to become the first independent and dedicated metrology test laboratory in the UK or Ireland to have ISO:17025 accreditation.

Within three months of launching, Verus obtained the international quality standard ISO:9001. However, the company operates at a much higher level than this, so is in the advanced stages of achieving official ISO:17025 accreditation.

Andrew Hodson is the Managing Director at Verus. He said: “Providing our clients with the highest possible standards of quality has always been the foundation of our business.

“As we operate in the MedTech sector, many of our clients audit us regularly. Formalising our quality standard compliance with an ISO:17025 accreditation will give our clients further reassurance.”

Verus Metrology, an Atlantic MedTech Cluster member, achieved ISO:9001:2015 accreditation in May 2018. The company aims to have the new accreditation in place by the second quarter of this year.
